First steps after onboarding
The five things to wire up before inviting officers.
You just created the community. The MDT and Dispatch surfaces work immediately, but five quick setups make AwareCAD genuinely useful before you start onboarding officers.
1.Connect your ER:LC server
Without this, AwareCAD has no idea who's in your server, when calls fire, or what vehicles are around. The bridge is the spine of the live integration.
Read the guide →2.Bind your Roblox group
Lets ranks in your Roblox community auto-enroll into AwareCAD ranks. When a Lieutenant gets promoted in your Roblox group, their AwareCAD rank moves with them — no manual sync.
Read the guide →3.Bind your Discord guild
Same idea as Roblox bindings, but Discord-side. Helpful when departments are organized as Discord roles.
Read the guide →4.Configure ER:LC team → department routing
If you have more than one department (e.g. PD + Fire + EMS), tell AwareCAD which in-game team maps to which AwareCAD department. Then 911 calls and `;tstop` / `;panic` actions route to the right queue automatically. Open admin/integrations → Game Bridges; the section pre-fills the suggested mapping for the four default departments.
Read the guide →5.Invite your first officer
From admin/invites, generate an invite token and share it. They sign up, paste it, and become an active member. Or if you set up the Roblox/Discord auto-enroll above, they may not need a token at all.
Read the guide →Once those five are done, walk through the officer guide as if you were a new officer — it'll surface any gaps in your setup before a real officer hits them.
